day 2 & 3 of summer - riding the bus

Day 2 and 3 we rode the bus all over town. It's free bus week.

Day 2 we went to the library with friends. The had a picnic- Them the funnest part of all just jump on any bus and told the kids when they saw a fun park to pull the stop button and off we got.

Day 3 we had so much fun we did it again. With more friends. Our park group meets on Wednesdays and we were going to a park on our route. So we told all our friends and then we got to pick up our friends all along the route.
We did the park from 9:30- 3:30. Good thing I packed a big lunch

1st day of summer

To celebrate our first day of summer we went to 6 flags marine world. We missed the killer whale show by 10 minutes. Bummer.... Will have to go back.

Noah 2012 June favorites

For Noah's last day of Pre school he drew a picture of himself and told the teacher his favorites

When I grow up I want to be : a fisherman.

Not quite sure where he got the fisherman thing from but alright.

Fathers and sons

Mothers day weekend Kevin Noah and Preston went to fathers and sons at the beach. the boys camped that night and roasted marshmallow and stayed up till 11. They all slept well.
Then next morning they climbed the sand dunes with some other families and sled down then.
Kevin had a grand time going up and down. We got a ton of videos but no pictures.
Noah had a fun time running around with his friends and watching his friends catch crabs and the dock.
Preston kept saying that he wants to go camping with me.
I said ok. ...... I was secretly jealous that got to go camping at the beach. -----and it was a beautiful hot day there.

So we are planning a weekend camping trip soon.

Baby kisses

Nursing has not always been my favorite thing. But I knew it was the best for my babies and thus I have prevailed. My last baby has been great-loves when I nurse and loves when I give him the bottle.
I was worried that I would though loose that special bond that nursing has.
Baby must have known I was concerned about this; so when I give him the bottle he always lifts his hand to my lips for me to kiss .
The picture is not the greatest but I wanted to capture that memory.

Woody

Grandma ginnie got Preston a woody outfit for Easter for our Disneyland trip next week. It was an instant hit. It came with a hat and holster. You can't see the holster in the picture but he packs toys in the gun pouch. My favorite part is that he calls it his seat belt. I love it when kids have no idea what something is called and they just use a word they know.

today noah set up a photo shoot for me. This is what we got!!

 Jack wont smile for the camera even though he is a super smily boy and I could not get one picture with all three of them looking. Oh well.

For about a week Preston insisted on wearing his backpack and riding his scooter everywhere. Yes I did have to cart that thing into the stores and to Noah's school and yes he did rode it around the house. I thought it was cute so I totally let him.

Preston turns 3

Preston turned 3. And what a happy birthday he had. On his actually birthday we didnt do much. We woke up and Preston opened his Thomas train toy that Noah picked out for him. The boys played with that all morning. Then we went and got birthday donuts.
Preston really wanted a blue , green , and orange cake. So I baked him a white cake I dyed green , and orange and then dyed the frosting blue. It was gross and I had a hard time eating that much food coloring but p loved loved loved it !!
While Kevin was making dinner we were practicing singing and blowing out the candles. We did it about 20 times till there were no more candles. Preston would say again, again. We I just kept doing it. I had to with that cute face smiling at me.
The next day we had his party. It was a beautiful 75-80*. It was just a play date with friends. I made a bunch of bubbles and bought 10 bubble wands and we met at the park. The kids played bubbles forever and then at the park then more bubbles. It was a beautiful day and Preston /the bubbles were getting a lot of attention. Good thing we had a ton of wands because all the park kids came and played. Preston thought that was a blast.
Then we went down to my parents and had a big family dinner and opened presents. Preston got a bike from us air was a really really fun day and he loves being 3.
